Message	I've never had solid panels down there. My old 91 TT had the openings (on the bottom), but no ducts. When I bought my new ones, they had the ducts, and it all made more sense why those openings were there. They got ripped off at some point before I bought it, because the rivets were still there. So unless the previous owner replaced the liners when he owned it, those were OEM in 91. I'm sure Bernie would have a definitive answer, but my guess is they stopped putting them on the car for 199X model year as a cost savings. Or every Z had them at some point like mine did.
